Sands Point, NY
In this purple bathroom, there was a major problem with style and space. For a main bathroom, the space needed to be both functional and convenient: two things that were severely lacking.
From the moment you entered, it felt dark, small, and claustrophobic - a large part because of the dark purple tiling. The awkward sink basin and stout toilet were in a dull cream color which was equally as outdated, dirty, and dark. A single mirror and outdated light was the only thing to brighten this room.
For busy families, a functional bathroom is essential which is why this bathroom needed an upgrade!
After the renovation the main bath is now bright and clean and exudes modernity and elegance. A large shower with gorgeous glass doors adds depth and space while also making the room light and airy. Aside the shower, one notices a brand new vanity that is wall hung and levitates off the ground to ensure a clean atmosphere as well as a continuation to the spacious feeling.
Atop the vanity, a classic white sink sits handsomely and is contrasted with a dark veneer wood. To accent the new vanity, Teoria mounted two long glass sconces on either side of the new mirror. Zeroing in on the smallest details, the fixtures and hardware in both bathrooms reflect a minimalist and modern approach to elucidate Teoria’s attention to detail and their commitment to elegance. Teoria has enjoyed working on these projects and we are delighted and humbled that the family is enjoying their new room!
